It is with great regret and sadness that I report the death of Jack Parker.
Jack, a long time member of the Brighouse Club died at the end of 2014.
He was a hard working, well known, resolute member of the Northern Area where his efforts were much appreciated by both indoor and outdoor flyers. He diligently investigated and found an ideal indoor flying site in the centre of our area which is enjoyed fortnightly during the winter months by many flyers. He also helped me considerably in running the flying at Dishforth and his involvement was much appreciated by the great variety of modellers who have flown there on Sundays during the summer months.
A great loss to the Northern Area but his hard work and achievements are well recognised in the Northern Area and beyond.
