Club Corner Online - Club AGM's with COVID restrictions & Go Membership Club+

Club Corner Online - Club AGM's with COVID restrictions & Go Membership Club+

After the very successful  Club Corner Online Seminars on Club Constitutions and Risk Assessments which can be seen on the BMFA Youtube Channel if you missed them. I will be holding a further webinar about Club AGM's with COVID restrictions & Go Membership Club+

We will be discussing various options for holding Club Annual General Meetings while we have probable restrictions in place, this will be an open discussion where all ideas can be considered.

We will also be joined by Phil Robinson from Go Membership who will take us through how CLUB+ could benefit your club, with the likelihood of face to face joining nights being small, CLUB+ offers a ready solution to quickly and easily accept Club subscriptions from your Members.

This webinar will be taking place on Thursday 15th October from 7.30pm using Zoom Webinar. Joining instructions will be emailed to those who register.

To register for this seminar please complete the form at https://zoom.us/webinar/register/8816010504012/WN_nLWNphH4QruwVaHu-G6vIQ

While this presentation is open to any BMFA member to join, places are limited, and priority will be given to those serving on a club committee. However I am aiming to livestream this webinar for those who miss out.

If you have any suggestions for further online seminars and workshops, I would be more than happy to hear them.

A couple of other things before I leave you.

  1. A reminder about Club Corner in the BMFA News, if you would like you club profile to be featured or have any worthy news items that could be of interest to the wider members please drop me an email to andy@clubcorner.bmfa.uk with details. Ideally a club  profile should be 500 – 100 words (preferable submitted as a word document) with up to 6 pictures with accompanying captions. Pictures should be sent as separate files, as high definition as possible.
  2. Are you able to offer trial flights and are you on the trial flight map at https://try-flying.bmfa.uk/ ? The trial flight map is proving an excellent resource for clubs to find new members so please ensure you are not missing out. Complete the form at https://try-flying.bmfa.uk/add-your-club if you wish to be added.
  3. Would you like your club to be featured on the BMFA Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BMFAOfficial ? Our Facebook page gets thousands of views every day and is an excellent way for your club to showcase your club and activities. Either send us a message on our page or drop me an email and we will be happy to feature your club and share your club website and Facebook page.
  4. Virtual club talks, while it is still not really possible to visit clubs for a traditional club talk until venues are opened up fully once more, I am always more than happy to host a virtual club talk using Zoom if you wish, please just ask if you would like to take advantage of this service

Kindest Regards and please stay safe and well
