Ivan Goodchild (1946 - 2016)

I am sad to report that Ivan Goodchild passed away suddenly on Sunday 8th May whilst taking part in an LMA Fly in at Binham, Norfolk. He had just finished flying his beloved B17, said he felt a bit funny, sat down and passed away. Paramedics were called and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene. It is sad to say that John passed away after a short battle with cancer. John had been a keen Control Line flyer for many years, competing in his earlier days in Combat and then finding his vocation flying CL Aerobatics.
