Ken Sheppard - 1926-2013

Ken, a Life Member of the Marquis Model Flying Club, passed away on 3rd December at the age of 87 Ken was not only a founder member of the Club but the chairman at the inaugural meeting which was held in his garage workshop in 1967. What started years earlier with a loose group of model fliers using a wartime airfield just outside Weymouth near to a pub called the Marquis of Granby became the Club which endures to this day. Ron Firth FSMAE - 1928-2013

It is with much sadness that we report the death of Ron Firth FSMAE, who passed away on 20 Dec 2013 at the age of 85. CAA Annual Review of Model Flying
