The AGM and Annual Prize-giving Dinner will be held at the Voco St John’s Hotel, 651 Warwick Road, Solihull, B01 1AT. This is a new venue for the AGM at a well-appointed hotel that offers amenities more appropriate for our Centenary celebrations.  The AGM is the opportunity for your club to have a direct say in the governance of your Association.

If you haven’t previously attended the Awards Dinner, you don’t have to be an award recipient to enjoy this very sociable evening so why not make it a first this year? Guest of Honour will be Ian Whittle, son of Sir Frank Whittle who invented the jet engine and was himself a model flyer and member of the SMAE in its early days.   It promises to be a memorable evening.

Signing in will be from 10am.

A selection of models and memorabilia from the Centenary Exhibition will be on display.

Lunch will be available from 12noon until 1.00pm.

The AGM will start at 1.30pm.

The Dinner and Prize-giving will be held in the evening commencing at 7.15pm.

Dinner Tickets will be £30 and the overnight room charges will be £79pppn for a single room and £89pn for a double room all including full English breakfast.
