I'll keep this brief, we've not long got back from an awesome day at the field (followed by the banquet), none of our lads were flying today, it's all over and this is basically a final result summary.
F4B (Control Line)
Danny did plenty enough to secure the Silver medal, 2nd best in the World is a truly remarkable achievement especially considering the domestic scene isn't well attended.
Final result:
- World Champion: Peter Bauer USA
- Runner up: Danny Fenton GBR
- 3rd Place: Lukasz Szeptycki POL
F4H (Stand off)
Both Mat and Nigel made an impression on the international scene albeit with a mid-table finish. Mat scored 6th in static (25th overall) and Nigel scored 11th in flying (21st overall), bear in mind that this is the best entered class with 37 entries from 18 different nations - not to mention the fact neither had any practice time and their only 2 flight scores to counted.
- World Champion: Reto Sen SUI
- Runner up: Alexis Levy FRA
- 3rd Place: Vladimir Rynes Jr. CZE
F4C
- World Champion: David Law AUS
- Runner up: Andreas Luthi SUI
- 3rd Place: Marc Levy FRA
So there it is, David Law is the new F4C (the premier class) World Champion!
Emotional rollercoaster of a week but what a week, what an awesome ensemble of models, and what a truly awesome bunch of aeromodellers - living the dream!
