<p>Yes, medals, plural! The GBR F3N team of Duncan Osbourn, Dave Fisher, Steve Gerrard and Junior Aaron Cole have won the Team Gold medal at the 2016 FAI F3N European Championships.</p>
<p> Duncan took the Individual Bronze medal and the cherry on the cake was young Aaron Cole in his first outing on the GBR team who won the Junior Individual Gold!</p>
<p> Duncan was lying 3rd after the preliminary (elimination) rounds with Dave in 7th place and young Aaron, in 10th. For the finals (where the top ten flew two more rounds) Duncan and Dave maintained their position but Aaron improved by one place being placed 9th in the final results. The points of the third GBR team member, Steve Gerrard, cemented the Team Gold with the GBR team a full seven points ahead of Denmark in the Team Silver position and an astonishing 19 points ahead of Ireland in the Team Bronze position.</p>
<p> Congratulations to all the team members for their terrific performances but especially to Duncan and young Aaron Cole for their individual medals – and not forgetting their Team Manager Julie Fisher whose management skills and cool persona meant that the boys just had to concentrate on flying and not worry about anything else.</p>
