The main goal of RC pylon racing is rather simple: each pilot has to fly as fast as possible for 10 laps around a triangular course. The triangular course is clearly visible due to the presence of three pylons.
During each flight, several penalties or disqualifications can be awarded if the aircraft does not complete the full course on any of the 10 laps.
The competitor's score is expressed by the amount of seconds that their race time took.
The event of RC pylon racing is simple to understand but at the same time very exciting, there is a place for people of all abilities and interest levels within the BMFA/BMPRA pylon racing community, life long friendships and bonds are common within the community, come along and see what you have missed for all of these years !!
