Members of the Keighley and District Model Aircraft Club have spent this weekend showcasing model aircraft flying in the Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
A steady stream of visitors to the stand have had a taste of model aircraft flying on the 3 simulators in use and many of those have booked booked trial flights at the club field in the coming weeks. Many others took away one of the new Club Flyers that are available for clubs to download, add their details and print from https://clubpr.bmfa.uk/flyers (See below)
With the loss of many of the high street model shops over the years youngsters do not have the opportunities to press the noses against the model shop windows to marvel at the many model aircraft. This initiative is a perfect way for clubs to raise their profile and that of model aircraft flying with their local community. Well done to the members of KADMAC!
