<p>Ronald 'Ron' Checkley, of the Tamworth (Hanson) Model Flying Club, passed away earlier this years at the age of 87.</p>
<p>Ron had been a much loved and valued member of the club for more than 20 years and was famous for his love of life and infectious sense of humour. He was a talented pilot and builder who would often take younger members under his wing to encourage and nurture them. He will be much missed by everybody who knew him.</p>
